Afghan khajoor, is a populer deep fried pastry in Afghanistan. Khajoor, is made in many occasions, Eid, parties, etc. Khajoor, is similer to donuts, but is more dense and has a light sweet taste with hints of cardamom with a crunchy outer shell. I suggest you all give this unique pastry a try.
