Chicken Puffs/Chicken Patties Recipe with Quick & Easy Puff Pastry Recipe
plain flour 240g or 2 cups
butter 30g or 2tbsp
cold water 120ml (1/2cup)
knead it for 3-4 minutes
unsalted butter(frozen & grated) 170g or 3/4 cup
onion 1med chopped
boneless chicken 250g (boiled and shredded)
salt 1/2 tsp
black pepper 1 tsp
plain flour 2tbsp
milk 1/2 cup
▪freeze the dough and grated butter for half an hour
▪after half an hour roll it and cover 2/3 of the sheet with half of the butter
▪now again cover 2/3 of the sheet with the remaining half of the butter
▪then roll and fold three times(rotate 90° then roll and fold every time as shown in the video)
▪wrap the pastry in cling film and keep it in the refrigerator.
▪you can keep it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days and can freeze it for 3-4 weeks and thaw it in the refrigerator over night then use it.
▪pastry should be well chilled at the time of baking.it is a good idea to refrigerate it for a while after filling.
▪you can also freeze it after filling and use within 3 weeks.
▪ bake at 220°C (preheated oven)for 13-14 minutes or until puff up and golden brown on top.
