See How to make Eggless Chocolate Cake with delicious frosting | Soft & Spongy Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients’ for cake sponge
• Refined flour, 2 cups
• oil,1/2 cup
• Yogurt, 1/2 cup
• milk, 3/4 cup
• salt, 1/4 tsp.
• sugar,
• Baking soda
• Baking powder
• Cocoa powder,1/4 cup
• vanilla essence, 1 tsp

Ingredients’ For Frosting

• Whipping cream
• lemon juice
• icing sugar
• Chocolate compound
• Butter
• Sugar syrup made-up of 1/4 cup water and 3 Tbsp. sugar
• Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.
• In a large mixing bowl combine oil, yogurt and sugar.
• Beat it for 8-10 minutes.
• Add vanilla essence and beat it for another minute.
• In another bowl sieve all the dry ingredients i.e. refined flour, salt, baking
• powder, baking soda and cocoa powder.
• Mix well.
• Add this dry ingredients to the wet ones in two batches.
• Add milk gradually and mix.
• Pour this batter to a greased and dusted baking tray.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
• Once the cake is out of the oven, cool it for 5-7 minutes and unmold it.
• Allow it cool down at room temperature.
• To make frosting melt butter in a pan
• Add grated chocolate compound and mix well, till it is glossy.
• Add whipping cream, sugar and lemon juice.
• Beat it till peaks are formed. Icing is ready.
• Cut the cake into halves from the middle and keep the top layer aside.
• Cote the second layer of the cake with sugar syrup. Don’t forget the sides.
• Cover the second layer with the icing.
• Place another layer over it and repeat the process of soaking and icing.
• Before final finish, set the cake for 30 minutes in refrigerator.
• Smooth the sides and top of the cake evenly. and decorate it
• Delicious, mouth watering eggless chocolate cake is ready.
