Walnut Cake

8 eggs
For the dough
7 ounces of sugar
5 ounces of crushed walnuts
3 ounces of flour
2 tbsp of bread crumbs
For the filling
7 ounces of crushed walnuts
6 ounces of milk
1 ounce of starch
0.7 ounces of rum
9 ounces of butter
7 ounces of powdered sugar
For the decoration
3 ounces of crushed walnuts
3 ounces of chocolate sprinkles

The estimated time you’d need for preparing this dessert is about 90 minutes
For the dough
In a mixing bowl crack six eggs
Add sugar
Mix until the ingredients don’t get a foamy texture
Add crushed walnuts in the bowl
Add flour
Mix until the ingredients come together
Take a baking pan and put bread crumbs on the surface of the pan
Then, add your walnuts, eggs and sugar mixture
Bake for 45 minutes at 383 F
For the filling
Boil some milk
Crack the remaining two eggs and divide the yolks from the whites
Add starch to the egg yolks
Add the leftover milk
Put this mixture in the pan with the milk and mix until you get a creamy texture
Put it on a plate and leave it till it cools down
Put some butter and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl
Mix until you get a foamy texture
Once you do, put the cream in the mixing bowl as well
Add some rum and crushed walnuts
Mix until the ingredients don’t come together
Take out the cake dough and cut it horizontally in the middle
Put some of the filling over the first layer
Put the second layer of dough over the filling
Then, cover the entire cake with the leftover filling
Cover half of the top of the cake as well as the sides with your leftover walnuts
Cover the half on the top of the cake without any walnuts with chocolate sprinkles
Decorate with chocolate cookies
